We kindly ask you to read carefully the following Terms & Conditions in order to avoid any misunderstandings and to preserve your rights, so please read them carefully. Our company reserves the right, at it’s discretion to change, update or remove any part of these Terms & Conditions during its review period.
Booking
Prices shown on this are in Sterling and are inclusive of VAT.
Once the availability and the total cost of the services are confirmed by our company (usually within 24 hours from receipt of your request), you will be required to fill in a Booking Form to secure the accommodation.
The person who makes the booking will have to accept the terms and conditions on behalf of all other members of the party and is liable for all payments due from the said members.
Transfers
To help you arrive at your property with the minimum of stress, we offer transfers from the airport. (There is nothing worse than getting lost after a long journey). We can also arrange car hire for you.
Payment Details
A non-refundable deposit of 30% will be required to secure your accommodation when your booking has been confirmed. (The accommodation will be held for up to 7 days until confirmation).
A security deposit of £100 sterling will be required in case of any damage and is refundable 14 days after departure.
Payment can be made by Cheque or by Bank Transfer to our account:-
Avra Estate Management & Holidays Ltd. Full details are shown on the booking form, which you will be required to complete to secure your accommodation. If a payment is made by Credit/Charge Card, you will incur an additional fee (up to 3%) to cover the cost of the transaction with the card provider.
Cancellation
All cancellations must be submitted to Avra Estate Management & Holidays Ltd. In writing, either by email, fax or post, and will be effective from the date of receipt by us. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which covers cancellation.
In the unlikely event of cancellation, the following charges will be made:-
Eight weeks prior to arrival: - 30%
Cancellation by Owner
In the unlikely event of cancellation by the owner, we will offer the choice of another property, through us, similar in standard to the original property booked, (subject to availability) with the price payable or refundable as appropriate. No compensation payment will be made.
Accommodation & Stay
Please remember that during your stay the accommodation you are renting is someone’s home and should be respected. You are responsible for any breakages, losses or damage that may occur and payment will be sought at the end of your stay.
Access to the property shall be from 14.00 hours on the first day of rental, to 11.00 hours on the last day. Arrangement can be made to extend these times, but an extra day can be charged.
If you wish to extend the length of your stay, subject to availability and written confirmation with Avra Estate Management & Holidays Ltd., we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Health & Safety
Every care is taken to ensure the safety of the property and all its appliances. However, the company cannot accept any responsibility for any ill health or sickness during your stay whilst renting a property out to us.
REMEMBER THE PROPERTY YOU ARE RENTING IS SOMEBODY'S HOME, SO PLEASE RESPECT IT AND LEAVE IT AS YOU WOULD WISH TO FIND IT.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Special attention must be paid to the following..
Glass doors: Due to the bright sunlight patio doors can be easily mistaken as open and therefore be walked into, some homes will not have stickers on them so it is strongly recommended to be careful and to make sure children do not run in and out of them.
Marble floors: These can become VERY slippery when wet so please be extra careful when returning in from the pool area and keep the floor dry as much as possible.
Pool areas: Please be careful around the pool area, floors are slippery and an accident can easily happen if care is not taken. Do not leave children unattended in the pool and read and observe the pool rules and restrictions
It is recommended that you have suitable insurance to cover for this.
Liability
Avra Estate Management & Holidays Ltd. can accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, personal injury or death regardless of however incurred.
Whilst we are committed to providing the best possible service to our customers and take every care and precaution in choosing the properties, photographs and accuracy of all information provided, we cannot accept any liability whatsoever. All details are representative and for guidance only. In the event of any building works being carried out in the near vicinity, of the property hired, we will do our best to inform guests of this, but cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience that may be incurred on the part of the guest.
No claims for costs or additional expenses will be accepted by Avra Estate Management & Holidays Ltd., as a result of any changes that may occur over which we have no control.
Other Conditions
Transport to and from the airport is not included in the price of the property.
Air-conditioning (where available) is charged on a daily basis per unit . Payment is to be made locally.
All properties are cleaned once a week, towels and bed-linen is included. Additional cleaning can be arranged cost.
We cannot be held responsible for any action of any of the following: Civil unrest, extreme weather or bad weather conditions, or any other circumstances that this company could not foresee i.e. war, terrorist activity etc.
Complaints must be made directly to us whilst you are still on the island. These complaints must be in writing. No complaints will be accepted once the guest has left unless these guidelines have been followed.
