Villa Danver is set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the lower reaches of Peyia, only a 10 minute walk to the village centre and 5 minute drive to the famous beach and resort at Coral Bay. Not only does the property enjoy such an ideal location, it is also beautifully appointed throughout with ample room for all the family to relax and socialise in a most peaceful setting.

The villa itself is characterised by a large turreted frontage and surrounding mature gardens with the sea and countryside views from the private rear terrace and balcony having to be seen to be appreciated. Inside , the accommodation is unusually spacious and bright with a large lounge/dining area, modern kitchen and cloakroom downstairs and a turreted staircase leading to 3 double sized bedrooms, an en-suite, family bathroom and a large balcony which is shared by both master bedroom and bedroom 2.

Outside, there is a large sun terrace from both lounge and dining area overlooking the 8m x 4m private pool and rear garden. There is a driveway with gates and space for 2 cars, with mature landscaping and flowers all round including an overhanging orange tree as a stand out feature.

The villa is Air Conditioned/Heated throughout with Lined curtains to most windows. The villas water is heated by a solar system and is usually very hot, however is a back up immersion should this be needed. A supply of fresh spring water is supplied to the villa.

Location details : Paphos

The village of Peyia is one of the most picturesque and popular villages in the area. It is spread over a large area with the village centre (1 km away) having many good amenities including bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and a bank (to name but a few). Only a 5 minute drive away is the famous Coral Bay resort with its Sandy beach for all the family as well as its more extensive selection of nightlife and daytime activities.

Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.

In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.

Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula (3km), there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

Above Peyia, lies the road to Kathikas with its traditional Village centre and great tavernas. The road then leads on to Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with other small but charming villages along the way. An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

Room details

Entrance- A gated driveway leads to the main door of the house via the shaded porch. As you enter, there is small reception area, a cloakroom to the right with main living areas beyond and staircase to the left which has storage space to the side.

Cloakroom- The fully tiled cloakroom has a WC, wash hand basin with mixer tap and an arched, frosted glass window for light and ventilation. There is further benefit of a wall cabinet with mirror above the basin.

Lounge- The lounge is very spacious and is open plan with the dining area. There are 2 x 3 seater sofas, 1 is a sofa bed, matching tables and units including a smart entertainment unit which includes TV with Satellite, Video/DVD and Hi-Fi. There is a window to the side as well as patio doors fitted with smart suede curtains which lead out to the rear sun terrace and pool.

Dining Area- The open plan dining area is dominated by a modern table and chairs which can comfortably seat 8 people. There is a 3 seater sofa in this area which is further enhanced by the patio doors leading out to a spacious sun terrace (8m x 3m) and private pool.

Kitchen- The kitchen is very bright and modern in its look and design with beech wood fronted units, stainless steel fittings and appliances, black granite work surfaces and tiled splashbacks. There is a tall fridge/freezer, built in stainless steel oven and microwave, 4 burner gas hob and smeg hood, stainless steel sink, kettle, toaster, plus, all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for convenience in this area. The window to the front of the property faces South East for morning sunshine and is fitted with a roller blind.

Sun Terrace- The 8m x 3m sun terrace (partially shaded by the balcony above) is separated from the lounge and dining room by 2 sets of glass patio doors and is characterised by arched pillars which allow views to the private pool and mountain backdrop. This creates an ideal setting for alfresco dining, socialising and relaxing.

Staircase-The turreted marble staircase which has 2 long curved windows facing South East for light leads to all upstairs accommodation.

Master Bedroom- The master bedroom consists of a king sized bed with bedside cabinets and lamps situated below arched windows at either side. There are large fitted wardrobes which provide good storage and hanging space as well as a dressing table, stool, large mirror, safety deposit box and portable TV. Patio Doors provide access to an 8m x 2.5m balcony which affords the most wonderful views to the sea and surrounding countryside. There is further benefit of an En-Suite shower room.

En-Suite-. The spacious and modern, fully tiled en-suite in white, has a full sized bath with shower and screen, WC, W/H basin with chrome mixer tap, cabinet with mirror above and frosted glass window to allow light and ventilation. There is an air-conditioning unit for cold or hot air as desired which is not something you would normally find but of great benefit in both Summer and Winter seasons.

Bedroom 2- The second bedroom also has patio doors leading out to the upstairs balcony which overlooks the surrounding countryside and to the Sea . There is a double sized bed, bedside tables with lamps and fitted wardrobes There is a further West Facing window to the side of the house.

Bedroom 3 (downstairs)- This very bright third bedroom has 2 single sized beds, 1 bedside table with lamp and fitted wardrobes. There are 2 windows which face South East and West respectively.

Bathroom- The spacious and modern, fully tiled main bathroom with white suite, has a full sized bath with shower and screen, WC, W/H basin with chrome mixer tap, cabinet with mirror and frosted glass window to allow light and ventilation.

Outside- The property enjoys mature landscaped garden to all sides. A large driveway with space for 2-3 cars leads into the property from the quiet cul-de-sac. To the rear of the property is a beautiful 8m x 4m private pool with space around for dining and relaxing. The rear of the villa has been carefully designed with the large sun terrace and balcony giving a tremendously open aspect to the expanse of green countryside and Mediterranean Sea beyond.

On your arrival you will find a complimentary seasonal basket of fruit & a bottle of wine. During your stay in this accommodation you are provided with a mid stay clean with linen change and fresh towels. If you wish a further grocery welcome pack for your arrival then there is choice of these available for you to choose from. Should you require cots or highchairs for your stay then these are also available for a small extra charge.
