Located in the heart of Kato Paphos, within close proximity to beaches, restaurants and the town centres of old and new Paphos, this prestigious apartment is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The aptly named Paradise Gardens Complex has been built to a quality standard in a traditional Cypriot style and was awarded Silver in the Daily Telegraph's Best Cyprus Apartments 2004 competition. The complex surrounds a large kidney-shaped swimming pool and children’s pool in pretty, well maintained gardens. Our first floor, fully air conditioned apartment comprises one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with large fitted wardrobes, and dressing tables. These are situated at the rear of the apartment overlooking a large private garden and therefore very quiet at night.

The apartment itself is tastefully decorated and is well equipped and designed throughout. Most rooms have Air-Conditioning units, windows fitted with shutters (for security and keeping cool) and comfortable furnishings for your convenience and relaxation.

The property is on the first floor with private parking situated below. As well as the stairs, an elevator is available giving access to those people with reduced mobility. The apartment entrance leads into a short hallway which has bedrooms and bathroom to the right and living areas to the left. The first area you pass is the modern and well designed kitchen before moving through to the dining area and lounge. From the lounge you can venture out by patio doors to the spacious balcony (6m x 4m) that overlooks the fabulous pool area decorated with mature gardens and palm trees, giving a real tropical feel.

The bedrooms are both double sized, 1 with double bed, the other with 2 singles. The main bathroom has a full sized bath and shower.

Location details : Paphos

Paphos is generally thought to be one of the most attractive and unspoilt areas of Cyprus. The apartment is set in a very quiet residential area yet only a five-minute walk from the interesting shops, super restaurants & lively tavernas of Kato Paphos.

Within easy walking distance is the main beach & the picturesque harbour adjacent to the fascinating archaeological park. Should you hire a car, there is easy access to the main arterial routes that lead from East to West and from South to North, opening up the rest of the island for your visit.

Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.

In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.

To the West there is Coral Bay and its wonderful sandy beach then going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

Heading North by car, you can find the route to Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with many small but charming villages along the way. An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

Room details

Entrance- The apartment entrance is only a short distance (but not too close) from the stairs and elevator and leads into the hallway area of the apartment.

Kitchen- The kitchen, which is enclosed by a curved breakfast bar has been fitted with modern white units, black work surfaces and matching tiled splashbacks. Appliances include oven, electric hob, hood, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. All crockery and cooking utensils are included.

Dining Area- The dining area is conveniently situated next to the kitchen and is open plan to the lounge. A circular dining table with 6 chairs and a window to the side allows natural light in this area.

Lounge- The lounge is comfortably appointed with sofa, side table and lamp, TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, Electric Radiator and large patio doors leading out on to the large sunny balcony.

Balcony- The balcony is 6m x 4 m and overlooks a fabulous pool area which itself is beautifully set with mature gardens and tall palm trees giving a wonderful setting for dining, socialising and relaxing in the sun. Table, chairs and sun loungers are provided, and the area has lighting for use in the evening.

Master Bedroom- The Master Bedroom is quietly situated to the rear of the apartment and features, double bed, 2 x bedside tables, a dressing table with drawer, cupboard and mirror, fitted wardrobes, 2 windows with shutters and 2 conveniently situated overhead lamps with pull cord switches.

Bedroom 2- The second bedroom, also situated to the rear of the property, has 2 x single beds separated with bedside unit, a dressing table with stool and mirror, double sized fitted wardrobes and window with shutter.

Bathroom- The bathroom is clean and fresh with white sanitary ware including bath with detachable shower, WC, W/H basin, 2 x towel rails, 2 narrow cupboards and a frosted glass window to allow natural light and ventilation.

Outside- The communal areas are truly what make the property, with underground parking available as well as an elevator to all floors. Entering the inside of the complex, you feel like you have walked into another world as you see the stunning swimming pools surrounded by mature gardens, colourful flowers and tall palm trees. There is a children’s pool as well as the large communal pool and there are showers in this area too. A great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
