This luxury, modern and spacious villa, is located in a quiet and peaceful Cul-De-Sac in an upmarket residential area of Chloraka (beach side); only 3 minutes walk from the beach and some beautiful coves for swimming and snorkelling. The property is nicely secluded with a narrow private lane leading to the front of the property which is set back with its own driveway extending such a distance as to allow parking for 3-4 cars.

The ground floor of the property has a large open plan lounge and dining area, leading to a stunning open plan kitchen, finished in white and black granite and packed with high quality modern appliances which include large fridge freezer and dishwasher as features. The lounge seats six on a comfortable black leather sofa and has matching low level coffee table and TV unit as well as a contemporary Open fireplace adding character in summer and warmth on cool winter evenings. The Dining Area has a modern table which seats six. There is also a Cloakroom and a Utility Room for convenience and Patio doors lead out into the large rear garden with private pool from both Lounge and Dining Areas.

A Marble Staircase leads up to the first floor, where there are Two Double sized Bedrooms with modern furniture and large king sized beds. The Master Bedroom is En Suite, with Shower, WC and Wash Hand Basin. Bedroom 2 has patio doors leading to a very nice 3m x 3m balcony shaded by a pergola and looking out over the rear garden to the SE and to the sea. There is also a lovely Main Bathroom, with full size Bath, Shower, WC and Wash Hand Basin. The pool is 8m x 4m and is lit inside for safe night swimming as is the surrounding patio area.

The villa is Air Conditioned/Heated throughout with Shutters to all windows. The villa water is heated by a solar system. The water is usually very hot but there is a back up immersion should this be needed. A supply of fresh spring water is supplied to the villa. This is located in the middle of a three way tap system, in the kitchen.

Location details : Paphos

The village of Chloraka is one of the biggest villages in the area. It is spread over a large area and 2 distinct sides. The upper part is where many traditional and modern shops, restaurants, bars and amenities are located, the lower part (where Villa Daria is located) is much more residential, peaceful and serene with the beach close by and many large luxurious properties scattered throughout. The local Hotel (Akti) provides some good amenities to the area with restaurant, mini-market and a bar with Sky TV. There is also Bar Dimma which has both indoor and outdoor seating, a pool and Sky TV.

A marooned shipwreck provides an interesting landmark in this area and when walking along the beach at dusk, the sun can sometimes set directly behind the shipwreck creating a very dramatic scene which would not be out of place in a Hollywood movie.

The tourist areas of both Paphos and Coral Bay are about 10 minutes away by car in either direction, the latter having the beautiful Coral Bay Beach, a beach suitable for all the family as well as a diverse range of bars, restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes.

Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.

In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Paul's Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.

Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

Above Chloraka itself, lies the road to Tala with its atmospheric Village Square which then leads on to Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with other small but charming villages along the way. There is an excellent highway which runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodite's Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

Room details

Entrance- A long driveway leads to the front door of the house with a few steps leading down to and off to the right there is access to the large garden area and pool. As you enter, (just past the marble staircase to the upstairs) there is a utility room (on the left) which hosts the washing machine and provides some storage space in addition. To the right there is the cloakroom prior to entering the main living areas.

Utility Room- The utility room is just off the entrance hallway and hosts the washing machine. The room is located under the staircase and also provides some downstairs storage which can be unusual in modern Cypriot Villas.

Cloakroom- The cloakroom has a WC and wash hand basin which is boxed in by cupboards and vanity shelving with mirror above. There is a window to the side.

Lounge- The centrepiece of the living room is a wonderful open stone fireplace which adds to the contemporary feel as well as bringing in the traditional flavour of Cyprus. There is modern black leather furniture with low level coffee table and a TV unit. Matching wrought iron effect light fittings are contrasted by white marble tiled flooring, continuing through to the open plan dining area and kitchen. There is a window to the side of the room with patio doors leading out to the rear garden and pool area. Heavy lined curtains help block light and keep the room cool in the height of summer.

Dining Area- The open plan dining area between lounge and kitchen is dominated by a modern table and chairs which can comfortably seat 6 people. Patio doors lead again out to garden and pool area with a shaded patio also accessed from this area providing a nice option in the height of summer.

Kitchen- The kitchen is clean and modern with white fronted units and black granite work surfaces. There is a large fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, oven, hob (elec) and hood, dishwasher, stainless steel sink, plus, all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils and much more for convenience in this area. The window to the side of the property has a roller blind.

Staircase- Back towards the main entrance door, there is a white marble staircase leading to the upstairs of the villa and to the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. A window allows natural light in this area.

Master Bedroom- The master bedroom consists of a very modern king sized bed with 1 bedside table and lamp. There are fitted wardrobes which provide storage and hanging space. A window to the rear of the property overlooks the garden and pool and there is benefit of an En-Suite Shower Room.

En-Suite- The fully tiled en-suite shower room, accessed from the master bedroom, contains a shower tray with curtain and rail, shower in chrome with temperature control, WC, W/H Basin and window for light and ventilation. The shower unit is detachable and can used as a hand shower for washing hair etc.

Bedroom 2- The second bedroom has patio doors leading out to a 3m x 3m balcony which faces in a SE direction and looks over the garden, the pool and to the sea. A pergola provides some shade if desired and adds character to the area. There is a large Bo Concept king sized bed with matching bedside units. There are fitted wardrobes and the modern feel is finished off by stainless steel light fittings, uplighters and lamps.

Bathroom- The spacious and modern, fully tiled main bathroom, has a full sized bath with shower over, WC, W/H basin and window to allow light and ventilation. There are fitted vanity units with granite work surface, large mirror and space to hang some washing on the hanging apparatus supplied in this area.

Outside- The property enjoys a particularly large garden to the rear with SE facing aspect allowing plenty sunshine hours for bathing and relaxing. A newly fitted pool enhances further. A large driveway with space for 3-4 cars leads into the property from the quiet private lane leading in from the road.
