Location details : Pissouri
The village of Pissouri is approximately 31 kilometers from Paphos Town (20 – 25 minutes drive), and 25 kilometers from Paphos Airport. There are two distinct communities; Pissouri Village & Pissouri Beach and about half of the population are Cypriots and the rest are residents and visitors from other countries, many British. Pissouri has retained its Cypriot character and is still very much a working village of farmers, many of whom are involved in farming tourists. The Pissouri area is famous for growing grapes, mainly in the valley between the main road and the sea. The villa itself is only a short drive from the main village, which has a theatre and a lovely square without any traffic. One of the other attractive elements of Pissouri is that you can still find shops, tavernas and restaurants along narrow cobbled streets. Located just a few kilometers to the west of Pissouri is the famous Aphrodite’s Rock.

Gardens & Outside: The private car parking area is accessed through wrought iron gates at street level. There is an outside tap (very useful addition for those car washing days) and steps at the rear of the parking area leading up to the gardens and the villa. At the top of the steps is a wrought iron arch with a climbing plant and beautiful gardens around the villa with a variety of plants and palms, white stones & bougainvillea. The terrace takes you around the side of the house overlooking one of the borders, to the rear of the property. Near the rear of the garden there are stairs leading down to the storage room which houses all the garden furniture including sun loungers, sun umbrellas and garden chairs. This private garden has a lovely rectangular pool and outside shower and lighting, a lovely green lawn and a very attractive wrought iron gazebo with drapes, which gives plenty of shade to the large wrought iron & glass dining table.

Sitting Room: This very stylish room is coordinated and attractive with a selection of pictures and objects, which enhance the look and feel of the room. The three-seater & two-seater sofas are leather and these are complimented by the coffee table & rug. There is a beautiful statuette in the fireplace, a TV and stereo cabinet with a DVD player and a wrought iron shelf unit with a selection of books & games. The sitting room also benefits from air conditioning and a freestanding water cooler. The two double sliding patio doors with the added benefit of fly screens, gives access to the terrace and garden.

Dining Area: The large glass & wrought iron dining table and six chairs sits beneath a beautiful ‘Are Deco’ style ceiling fan with a central dome light. The window to the side aspect also benefits from a fly screen.

Open-plan Kitchen: The attractive granite breakfast bar sits between the dining area and the fully fitted cherry wood kitchen. There is an electric oven with hob and extractor fan over, fridge & freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There is a window overlooking the gardens & archway and a door to the rear of the kitchen giving access to the steps leading to the villa.

Downstairs Double Bedroom: This pretty twin bedroom has wrought iron beds with a glass & wrought iron bedside table & lamp, wrought iron mirror, fitted cherry wood wardrobes, air conditioning, ‘Art Deco’ style ceiling fan with central dome light and two windows to the front and side aspects.

Downstairs Bathroom: The white bathroom suite consists of a wash hand basin with mirror and frosted glass shelf over, WC and a walk-in tiled shower with sliding glass doors.

Mezzanine Landing: From the sitting room the stairs lead up to a mezzanine landing with a window half way up overlooking the garden to the side of the villa. This landing area overlooks the sitting room.

Master Bedroom: There is a large double wrought iron bed with two complimentary wrought iron & glass bedside cabinets with lamps either side and a matching dressing table and stool, triple wardrobes in cherry wood, air conditioning and ‘Art Deco’ style ceiling fan with central dome light. Two windows overlook the gardens and a large majestic urn with dried flowers decorates the corner of the room.

Bathroom: A white bathroom suite comprising of a bath with shower over, WC, wash hand basin with frosted glass shelf & mirror over.

Third Bedroom: A very attractive twin bedroom with wrought iron beds, a glass & wrought iron bedside table & lamp, wrought iron mirror, triple cherry wood wardrobes, air conditioning, ‘Art Deco’ style ceiling fan with central dome light and windows to side and front aspects.
